Rails

Although today RAILS clothing is best known for its super-soft—and celebrity-adored—plaid shirts, the brand actually began with a black baseball hat bearing the newbie label’s logo. Created by television marketer Jeff Abrams in 2008, the design was picked up by one of California’s biggest retailers, giving Abrams the confidence to introduce RAILS shirts and hoodies into the lineup. Skip ahead a few years, and the company has become one of fashion’s top purveyors of effortless off-duty clothing.
