Hanky Panky

It all started in 1977, when designer Gale Epstein fashioned a set of lingerie for her friend Lida Orzeck using nothing but embroidered cotton handkerchiefs. The duo went on to launch Hanky Panky underwear, which was aptly named after those early fabrications. Known best for its signature crazy-comfortable, one-size-fits-all lace thong, which was first introduced in 1986, the lingerie label has grown to include such top-drawer staples as bralettes, bodysuits, robes, and boy shorts.
